Al Hall is author of five published books of poetry. He has done readings and keynote speeches at churches, academic institutions and federal establishments throughout the United States, including the Executive Office of the President. Hall is a native of Prentiss, MS. He graduated from Jackson State University, did graduate study at the University of Connecticut and graduated from Western New Mexico Univ. Hall has taught in public schools, supervised the educational program  in Job Corps, and served as Program Manager  for the International Visitor Program at US Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service Headquarters in Wash., DC.
